Kyandra Darling believes every Floridian deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare—no exceptions. Yet Florida remains one of just 11 states that has refused to expand Medicaid since the Affordable Care Act passed in 2010. That failure has left hundreds of thousands without the care they need.

As your State Representative, Kyandra will fight to:

• Lower prescription drug costs for seniors

• Make health insurance affordable for all Floridians

• Protect access to reproductive and sexual healthcare

• Expand community-based care so more people can recover at home, not in institutions

• Ensure mental health is treated with the urgency and coverage it deserves and is covered by insurance.

• Fully fund Florida’s public schools so every student has the resources to thrive

• Advocate for universal background checks on all gun purchases while protecting the rights of law-abiding owners

• Enhance the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Safety Act to ensure stronger protections in our schools

• Work to make sure domestic abusers and violent criminals are banned from owning a firearm

• Collaborate with law enforcement and community leaders from all backgrounds to build mutual trust and accountability

• Strengthen disaster readiness and climate resilience efforts so every Floridian is protected from natural disasters and the impacts of climate change
